I spent part of Saturday with this silly girl
| me trying to convince her to actually look at the camera |
Jayla is one of my sixth grade girls from my New Town small group. She has been wanting to make earrings for a while now, so Saturday we made earrings before heading over to the talent show and art auction. I decided to start out with some really simple earrings. She picked out her favorite fabric from my collection of scraps. We covered buttons with the fabric and then glued them into settings.
You can make your own. It's so easy!!
You will need:
fabric scraps
button cover kit
fish hook earring wires
jewelry & metal glue
lace edged cabochon settings
Follow the instructions on the button cover kit to cover them with the fabric of your choice. Simply glue the buttons into the setting and attach the earring wire. See...super simple!
