empowerment, not handouts

I have really enjoyed hearing from each of these ladies daily.  I love hearing the stories that they have shared, and I hope that you have too.  Noonday really is creating a pathway out of poverty for these groups of people all over the world.  People do not need handouts.  They need empowerment.  Many of these people DO have ambitions and dreams for their life and they definitely have gifts and skills.  They just don't have the resources or ability to bring these dreams about.  They don't need someone to come and give them money.  They need someone to believe in them and their dreams and to help them make it happen.  When you purchase from Noonday you are doing just that.  You aren't just feeling sorry for them and giving a "donation" to them.  You are helping to restore dignity to them.  They are providing you with a quality, desirable product AND you are paying them a fair price for it.
