another scarf refashion

So, here is another scarf that I embellished recently. I love scarves, but I rarely actually need one here in Georgia.  I like them more for that "extra something" that they add to an outfit.  Lately, though, I've really needed them here for the freezing weather we're having.  Once again, I used an old scarf that I rarely wear anymore.  I gathered together some scraps of fabric left over from previous decorating projects.  Then I just cut out shapes(branches, leaves, and a bird) and attached them to the scarf with embroidery thread.  This is a very simple technique and could also be used to quickly and easily liven up an old sweater or cardigan.
